ROLE IN THIS PROJECT

  • Festival coordinator

  • Overall marketing and communication strategy: social media, press, content production

  • Key stakeholder management

  • Production

In collaboration with the French Institute, 1602 and Jam It!, I created the first Yangon Street Art Festival dedicated to promoting urban art through a week of workshops, conferences, and performances.

The Yangon Street Art Festival teamed up with Myanmar and French artists to showcase the diverse forms of urban art, from graffiti to music, dance, and video. Through activities happening around town, the festival worked to raise awareness about a relatively little-known art form and the benefits of involving artists in developing the city and preserving its heritage.

As festival coordinator, I designed the program in collaboration with the various organizations involved and crafted the marketing and communication strategy.
